Life Keeps Changing

It has been some time since my last post. Life keeps changing. There are just some things we have to place on hold, while we manage priorities in life.

Everyone has different priorities in life, family, money, friends, and even health. Yet we all have continuous life changes. Everything from jobs, a new house, a new car, or even moving to a different country.

The hills and valleys we challenge to overcome during the course of our lives are what make us stronger. How we balance differences between family friends, work, home, and whatever else comes along, is what makes us resilient. Although we continue on with our lives, we are challenged by how we respond to the life changes.

If you’ve been following my website. You will know that I have had a lot of challenges in the last two years. I have slowly overcome some, while others still exist. I’m getting stronger by the day by overcoming these challenges. I look forward to my future while looking forward to lies beyond.

So today I want you to look deep within yourselves to find what life changes you have gone through in the past and what is in our future. Then ask yourself what challenges you have and will face? How will you overcome them? Will the outcome affect the way you live the rest of your life?

Reflecting on the Past

The other day I took a ride just to spend some time alone. Alone time is something we should all take on a regular basis just to clear our minds and focus on the present.

This ride took me to one of my favorite places on earth, the neighborhood where I grew up in. For some people, this is a time they want to forget. But this should be the place where we learned the most. Whether good or bad, we always have taken some very good memories to learn from.

As I drove through the neighborhood noticing how much it has changed. I did see a lot that brings back some fond memories. Some of these memories go all the way back to when I was just barely out of diapers. It is hard to believe we can remember small events or times in our life so long ago.

This time got me to thinking of a new direction for a new section within this website. Some of what I have shared are recent times in my life. I hope some of what you see gets you to realize how fast life passes us by. Before you know it we go from playing in the dirt with a Tonka truck to thinking about how we will spend our time during retirement. We transition from having our parents taking care of us, to being adults and taking care of our parents.

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to share more about the memories I have from my neighborhood. I hope that you can share a few things as well, especially if it brings back a few good memories of your our.

Thank You for reading. I look forward to hearing from you.
