After spending over 30 year in Public Safety as a firefighter and paramedic Ken has put together some of his experiences with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in the profession. PTSD is fairly new to the profession and has yet to be fully recognized in first responders. His push is to make people, including administrators, aware of the struggles first responders have on the front lines during and after their career.
COVID has changed the way first responders approach all incidents. The profession has changed since Ken began his career as a volunteer in 1989. Ken has worked in small communities to a large city. Ken has been recognized by the public in which he served as one of the best at his profession. Only to prove that you do not need a college education to be one of the best in your business.
